Patrick Hafenstein is the Chairman of JY BioMed and a global strategist with extensive experience in international business development, investment, and government relations. He also serves as Chairman of Esenfa Capital, an investment firm focused on high-impact ventures in biotechnology and life sciences. Prior to his role at JY BioMed, Patrick was the Queensland Government’s Trade and Investment Commissioner to Taiwan, where he played a key role in expanding global partnerships and attracting foreign investment. He is a board member of the Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan and a recipient of the Excellence Award from the General Chamber of Commerce, the first state-level commissioner to earn this distinction in the organization’s history.
