Dr. Adam Chen is an accomplished public sector leader and innovation strategist, currently serving as CEO of JY BioMed. He brings over three decades of experience in science and technology policy, research infrastructure, and cross-sector collaboration. Before joining JY BioMed, Dr. Chen held senior leadership roles within Taiwan’s top science and technology agencies, including his most recent position as Director of the Hsinchu Science Park Bureau under the National Science and Technology Council.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chen has played a pivotal role in advancing Taiwan’s innovation landscape. He previously served as Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Council, and held key posts including Secretary General, Director General of the Department of Foresight and Innovation Policies, and Director of Planning and Evaluation at the National Science Council. His leadership has helped shape national priorities in biotech, semiconductors, and emerging technologies.
